A Rainy Summer
Some of you may have noticed that it’s been a bit wet over the last week. Roads and garages are flooded, beaches have completely disappeared and your plans have likely been washed away with them.
Coming into 2021
Summer is coming. BBQs, beaching and beers pretty well sum up the Aussie summer vibe. But this year it will be a little different. With COVID to think about, it’s up to us to make sure we still live it up and keep the tourism industry moving forward.

Without getting too far ahead of ourselves, things are looking up. COVID cases nationwide are going down, restrictions are easing and the warmer weather is starting.

The slow return to normal
Well, I think it’s safe to say that we have all reached the point where we are desperately seeking something new to talk about. But the news does seem to be getting better; with the NSW Government recently confirming that regional travel in the state will be allowed for any reason as of June 1.

I know we talk about beer a lot but I promise that it’s not all we do. Distilleries have a special place in our heart and we want to share that with you. Taking a leaf from the farm to table approach, the farm to bottle philosophy is becoming just as prominent. And this is true not only in the Northern Rivers but all along Australia’s east coast.
