Behind the Barrel collects personal information necessary to deliver our services, products, and information to you or a booking agent on your behalf. If you use a booking agent to book with Behind the Barrel, Behind the Barrel will collect your personal information from the booking agent. Behind the Barrel collects personal information from individuals booking with Behind the Barrel, those applying for employment at Behind the Barrel, those who sign up to the Behind the Barrel newsletter database, and those who opt in to participate in a Behind the Barrel competition or event.
This personal information is submitted originally by you at your full permission either directly to Behind the Barrel or to a booking agent and includes but is not limited to: full name, address, email address, telephone numbers, country of origin, demographic, interest, or preference information, passport, insurance, and travel medical information, comments that you provide us and payment information which is collected via Stripe Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. How this information is used
We collect this information to provide you with our services and communications regarding Behind the Barrel products/purchases, email you with updates and news, respond to your inquiries or requests. Your information is stored on secure databases at secure addresses and protected from unauthorised access. You have the right to request to be removed from all Behind the Barrel databases at any time. Please email info@behindthebarrel.com au to be removed.
We do not sell information that you have submitted to us to any third party. If you are traveling on a Behind the Barrel product which includes sectors operated by one of our partners we may supply them with your first and last name to confirm your spot. We will not share any contact details e.g. email address or phone number.
How card payment information is protected
Payment information is collected via Stripe Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions and is subject to their Privacy Statement here.
Behind the Barrel collects Web Cookies
We use cookies to better understand how users interact with our websites and to understand what you are interested in, so we can personalise your experience. As you browse our website you will be asked if you consent to cookies being placed on your computer so that we can track website activity and interactions.
